Pirate Cave--passes redo
I have to rerender the AO as for some reason the aspect ratio didn't line up. It's gonna take like, 7.5 hours and will have to composite it tomorrow morning. I'll post it before class.

New Pirate Render...more coming tomorrow
Still having issues rendering the big Print Size. Here's as far as it went tonight. I'm going to render this over night and pray that it is finished in the morning so I can composite it for you. I did render passes, but for some reason, they will not parse.

strange render
- The first image is a screen shot of the scene.
- The second screen shot is the partial render with the weird render with the white "mist" that I do not know how got there or how to fix it.
- It is print size, though and I was able to render it on my computer. Hopefully, it will work sooner than later, once I underst
- and what's going on with the render.
- I made a ton of changes to the scene.
- I fixed the textures for the ship. I like it much better. I also added ratlines to all three masts
- I made ragged cloth for the spear and created a second spear that looks different with another ragged cloth on that one.
- Fixed the torch
- Made black prison bars
- Made a school of little sharks and put them under the water (although the render doesn't show it)
- Deleted the pistol
- Dug the sword further into the gold
- Re-textured the Plate and added a pirate texture
- Made an ncloth treasure map, (it's the Goonie's map)
- Resized the tables in the prison
- Made a backplate with texture
- Adjusted the lights
- Made a necklace
- Added stalagtites to the upper right foreground
- Added a huge rock by the front of the ship and two new planks
- Created another hole in the front of the ship

Midterm--Pirate's Cave
Still trying to get the damn thing to render. Here are my attempts so far, just to show you that I've been working on it all night. And will still be working on it :( I keep changing the settings, the lighting and it's still not going all the way through the rendering process, even at a low setting.

Pirate's Cave
For some reason maya isn't rendering in mental ray and I'm not sure why. So here is a screen grab so you can see that i've worked on my models.
Hopefully you can help me figure out why it worked last night but not tonight. :( I'll also post some from last night. do you think it's because I brought the zbrush low poly version of the caves in?
