Ruby Final in environment

I downloaded xNormal but it said that I had all of these ngons and when  I looked at my mesh to find them to fix them, I couldn't find them.  I used cleanup and the ones that it "showed" me, didn't make sense as I didn't see the ngons anywhere. So I took my normals into photoshop and fudged it a little there.  I'm not thrilled with the way it came out, but I'm out of time. I need to work on my other finals.

I have all of the render images from the turntable render. I tried bringing them into After Effects and was getting a strange error on the first image, so I haven't been able to make the quicktime movie yet. Gonna have Gio take a look at it later when he gets here to see if he can help me.  Either way, I'll have all 73 render images in my Project Folder to turn in on Tuesday.

Diner--Texture Test 01

Still working on the lighting, so don't look at that. Just concerned with the textureing now.

Diner_with Texture WIP

I still have a looong way to go with this. It is still pretty raw.

Ruby - NRM 1st Attempt

So my first attempt kinda sucked. I had to make the envelope really big so it would fit over the sculpt and I think that might have been an issue. I really don't know how to fix it but I'm gonna try again.
Here is what she looked like after I baked her.

Ruby Unwrapped

I used UV Master, which was GREAT!

Diner Painting

Diner--WIP

Still working on it. I changed the camera angle and took out the bench in the foreground. I added the following models to my scene.

  • fridges
  • vents
  • milkshake--with straw and cherry on top
  • plate
  • coffee cup
  • ketchup bottle
  • french fries
  • salt & pepper shaker
  • jukebox
  • cup of straws
I'm hoping to add a napkin holder and then in textures a bunch of logos and fun stuff like we spoke about in your critique.

Ruby--Final Sculpt

I scrapped the cyborg waitress idea and just tried to have a little fun with her and keep her a little sexy. I made an apron with a peek-a-boo on the sides, gave her a name tag and shorten her hat.

I didn't have time to work on her lips or nose, sadly.
